Ritual

Ritual, how I like to think of them, are mini ceremonies done regularly. An example would be celebrating a wedding anniversary every year. If you downloaded the Love Thyself Magick Mirror Ritual, you will see it has a pretty in depth ceremony with the goal of creating your Magick Mirror which you use daily, for as long as you need, to create the shift you desire. 

So, the two terms compliment eachother, and both have power, created through you. 

Ceremony

Ceremony can be done for any reason or occasion. Well known ceremonies include weddings, honoring ancestors, initiations, and celebrations of life. Ceremonies can be passed down through generations, or created new, and they can be for large groups or kept private and solo. They can be simple, or intricate. 

Ceremonies are a way to honor yourself, or to honor a special achievement or connection. They can be requested by deity and part of tradition, or something that has never been done before. Often, there are elements of a ceremony which one takes into Ritual.
