Embracing what is mine to do...

Oh where to begin...

I am from Alaska, born and raised, and currently live in Seattle, WA. Here is one of my fave photos of me at 16 years old with my dog Pepper. I LOVED that coat, and Pepper, she was such a good dog. The wool plaid was a salvation army find that kept me warm for many winters. PLUS! It was the only time I ever was really "in fashion" as the grunge era swept across the country. I spent winters snowboarding and partying (I was a rebellious kid), and summers being up in the mountains as much as possible. 

I am blessed, in some aspects, to be able to remember moments from a very young age. I have a memory of my mother coming into my room and picking me up out of a crib when I woke from a nap. I remember when my twin brothers came home from the hospital, I was a little over 2 years old. I remember when I started my own inner journey about God and spirituality and knew I had to keep it to myself - I was almost 4 years old. One of my favorite memories is watching a sunset with my Dad on a balcony when we had a family vacation on Big Island, Hawaii, I was 4ish. This memory is still so vibrant it feels like it was yesterday instead of 40 years ago. I have many memories of reading Dick and Jane books outloud to my Mom while she was baking in the kitchen, I had to keep up with my older siblings and if they could read, so could I. 

There was one year we lived in the wilderness.

I am a Libra, with a Gemini rising and just as one may suspect, I am a spicy ADHD human. I had NO IDEA until a couple years ago, but when I finally figured out that I am neurodivergent, so many things became clear.

I am a mother, and was a very young mother. I had my son when I was 19 and my daughter just before I turned 21. These two awesome humans are now in their 20's, and we are figuring out life together.
